Blessthefall - 40 days
For an hour and a half today, I cried. The hardest I’ve ever cried. I curled up in a ball, dug my nails into whatever part of my body they were currently touching, and just cried. And the worst part of it is that I know that she’s hurting even worse. I’m so scared for her.
I know I said I’m done with tumblr. I may still be. I’m not sure. All I know is that I had to post this.
I think I’m just going to go drown myself in music and calculus. Maybe some coding. But I have to drown myself in something, or else I’ll just drown myself in tears.
It’s only day one. I don’t know how many days lie ahead. But I hope to God that time flies like they say.

Does anyone know how to create this effect? (And/or a tutorial that could demonstrate how to do it)
What I think is essentially going on is create a “layer one” that contains an image of some sort, then create a “layer two” that has the solid color you want to be around the text, then create a “layer three” that has the lyrics you want to display, then somehow making the text on layer three appear as transparent on layer two, thereby creating the effect that the text is in the background of the image of layer one. I assume this is done in photoshop. However, I, by no means, know how to operate photoshop effectively, efficiently, or competently. If anyone could direct me to a tutorial, or create a simple how-to for me, it’d be greatly appreciated!
